JamesDavis is not just one person, it's a band. They are an extremely talented brother and sister Trio: Jess Reynolds, Rey Reynolds and brother Auston Reynolds.

A family of 3 equally strong voices and musicians that blend perfectly together.

After listening and reading about this family trio, it is clear they know exactly who they are as artists. They are literally in their own lane, no one genre defines them, this is what Soul,Not Soul? is all about! JamesDavis says it best in the interview with Popdust: "as writers and producers, we don't create with an aesthetic in mind. It's about a feeling, telling a story, and being honest. We create n service of the song and the music. It's also the reason why we, as a band, have never subscribed to one singular genre. Each project we've done has represented where and who we are, as individuals and as a band, in that time and space."
